How do I reset my Newly issued password

When you have your password reset the new password is a one-time use password and it will not unlock your Google account until you change the password.  Once you receive notification and your new password follow these steps.

1. Go to the FUHSD Password Recovery Tool https://password.fuhsd.org  Select "Change Password"

2.  The change password screen will immediately come up, enter your username (not your email address) and your current password.  Select your school (ACE), and select "next"

3.  The system will ask you to enter your new password.  Passwords must be

IBe 10 characters or larger and include 3 of the 4 listed types of characters.

  • Include a Capital Letter
  • Include a Lower Case Letter
  • Include a number
  • Include a Symbol

It is recommended you do not use spaces in your password.

4.  If you do not enter your new password corectly twice or it does not meet the minimum standards the system will give you a cryptic error message.  Re-enter your new password and verify that it meets the standards above.

5.  The system will inform you once it accepts your new password.  Note, this will change your Active Directory, Google and ASAP password.  Your laptop may or may not reflect the new password.  To force the new password onto a laptop you must plug into the network on campus (Not the preschool) and restart your computer after it has been plugged into the network.
