How do I take Hourly Attendance (CAEP / Distance Learning)?

Distance learning class attendance is taken using the "Hourly Attendance" feature.  This is a completely separate attendance process from the regular attendance taking system in asap. 

Step 1:  Log Into ASAP

Step 2:  Select class instance you are taking attendance for

Step 3:  Using the Attendance Options pull-down menu on the right-hand side of the screen select "Take Hourly Attendance"

Step 4:  On the right-hand side use the Attendance Type menu to select "Distance Learning"

Step 5:  Click int the proper box and set the correct number of hours.

Step 6:  When finished entering attendance for all students goto the bottom right-hand corner and select "Save"
