How do I create a zoom account? (Community Interest)

Our zoom based classes require a zoom login, you cannot enter a zoom meeting as a guest.  Please create and test a zoom account prior to the start of class.  

These steps will assist you in creating a zoom account.

Step 1: Go to http://zoom.us

Step 2: Select the "Sign up it's free" button

Step 3:  Enter your birthdate

Step 4:  Select "Continue"

Step 5: Enter your email address

Step 6: Select "Sign Up"

Step 7:  Open up your email

Step 8: Find this email (you should have just received it)

Step 9:  Select "Activate Account"

Step 10:  Select "No", do not select yes even if this account is only for your classes Zoom will ask you to verify an authorized school account, which you are not be able to do.  

Step 11: Select "Continue"

Step 12: Enter your name and create a password, note the complexity requirements of the password.  Write down the email address and password you used for this account and keep it near your computer.

Step 13: Select "Continue"

Step 14: Select "Skip this step"

You now have a Zoom account, remember to write down the login information you created.
